SMARTGRIP COMPOUND
Decades of victories in Motocross and Rally competitions around the world led our engineers to the development of a new innovative rubber formulation: the SmartGRIP Compound for the Scorpion™ MTB, which blends together opposite features: tear resistance for maximum mechanical grip on dry and wet surfaces together with maximum resistance against punctures, and chemical grip on wet terrain for unconditional riding in any kind of weather. The SmartGRIP Compound is the result of an extensive process of research and development that led us to absolute performance in both dry and wet conditions. We chose a single-compound formulation to achieve the most consistent performance throughout the entire lifespan of the tyre, even when the knobs start to wear.
LITE CASING
A lightweight and supple casing which maximises speed, handling and riding feel, the ideal casing for riders looking for maximum performance or with an accurate and sharp riding style. The LITE casing is the ultimate cross-country weapon thanks to its lower weight and superior speed, obtained with a 120 TPI fabric construction without extra sidewall protection. It is specifically designed for cross-country and for the lightest riders.
PROWALL CASING
The ProWALL features a sidewall protection that enhances puncture resistance and handling at low inflation pressure. The sidewall is reinforced with an extra layer of nylon that increases resistance against penetration and cuts while stabilising the tyre at low pressure for a confident ride over any kind of terrain. ProWALL is a solid option for XC racing, trail riding and enduro when paired with different carcass constructions, namely 120 and 60 TPI.
