SMARTGRIP GRAVITY COMPOUND
The SmartGRIP Gravity Compound is the racing-ready option of the Scorpion™ MTB range, a formulation derived from decades of motocross know-how and the feedback of former downhill World Champions. Softer compound, tear resistant, better grip in any weather condition, high stability and control at high speed, single-compound formulation. SmartGRIP Gravity is the answer for riders in search of a reliable tyre for any kind of single track, whether training or racing, thanks to its constant performance in different conditions and over time.
HYPERWALL CASING
The HyperWALL is an e-MTB specific casing that enhances handling and puncture protection at low inflation pressure, key features of an off-road tyre dedicated to gravity and e-MTB. Directly derived from Pirelli's Motocross experience, it features a thick rubber insert tightly connected to the bead with a layer of fabric which increases the stability of the bead (+10%) and protects the tyre from pinch flats by 50%. The result is a level of stability and solidity comparable with downhill-specific tyres without their typical weight, capable of handling the torque and weight loads of modern e-bikes.
